The Wauwatosa Neighborhood Association Council provides a wide range of unique and meaningful sponsorship and donation opportunities.

The NAC is an official 501(c)3 organization which means any donations or sponsorships may have tax benefits worth discussing with your tax specialist.

Donations v. Sponsorships?

Donations to the NAC

A donation is generally used to enhance a specific program or project to make it more appealing, successful, and robust.
Donations provide a great way for local businesses and individuals to have an elevated presence at one or more NAC events/projects.
NAC Donations are recognized at the specific events or programs they support
Donor logos will appear tiered in value on the NAC Website within an event or program page.

Sponsorships to the NAC

These can include gifts of money, venues, experiences, supplies, or products.
Sponsorships are generally used to create and sustain a specific NAC program, event, committee, project, or initiative OR to support the NAC organization as a whole.
Sponsorship may be restricted in use or given openly to support where the need is greatest.
Sponsors are recognized as NAC Partners. Depending on the size and scope of a sponsorship, partner logos are featured on NAC Website homepage, Local Sponsor Page, and/or on a specific program/project page
Additional Partner benefits are determined and delivered by the NAC. Benefits are customized to help NAC Partners meet their marketing, community outreach, and employee engagement goals

Beyond NAC events, individual Neighborhood Associations are also often in need of donations for their events and projects or sponsorship for specific or general needs. Neighborhood Associations that do not have 501(c)3 status may use the NAC as a fiscal agent in order to process larger donations and sponsorships and provide tax donation benefits for their donors/sponsors. In these cases, donations/sponsorships would be made to the NAC and then the NAC would give 100% of those funds back to the Neighborhood Association they are benefitting.
